Meet Mrs Green Reading

Mrs. Green

Welcome! I am so excited to work with you this year and help you develop a love of reading!

This is my second year teaching 6th grade.  The previous four years I taught Language Arts on Team Marvel here at EJHS.  Before coming to Evans, I taught 8th grade ELA at Simmons Middle School in Oak Lawn, Illinois and 7th grade ELA at MJHS in Mahomet, Illinois. 

• In 2015 I completed my master’s degree at Olivet Nazarene University focusing on reading.  

• I went to Illinois State for my bachelor’s degree focusing on middle school education with an emphasis in both ELA and math. 

• I have an adorable baby named Will, who is the center of my world!

• I have one dog, a Labradoodle, named Puck, and he loves causing mischief.

• I absolutely love to read in my free time along with going to concerts, watching the Chicago Blackhawks, and spending time with my family.
